There is now interest in increasing the capacity of facilities, especially in European markets, says Mechanical Engineer Bowei Allen Li.

Lamellas are used to improve the efficiency of the sedimentation process. Lamella plates or tubes increase the clarification surface area of the sedimentation tank. The Finnchain scraper system can be installed under these lamellas. 

Lamella clarifiers are also well suited for renovation and modernisation projects, as well as for sites where the capacity of the system needs to be increased.

One good option is to replace old clarifiers with lamella clarifiers. There is now a lot of interest, especially in the European market," says Mechanical Engineer Bowei Allen Li.
