CLEARLY IN DAILY BASIS

As a Domestic Sales Manager, my responsibilities include sales and spare parts for Finnish projects, as well as marketing. As part of my sales work, I visit and measure the basins where we supply scraper systems. I am involved at the beginning and end of projects that include installation, as I also act as a pre-installation person.

CLEARLY AT POINT

I work mainly at the Rauma office. I make appointments and negotiate by phone and e-mail, and I also visit customers all over Finland. I am also in contact with customers after projects are completed, making sure that everything is working as it should and that maintenance is done on time.

Domestic installers are responsible for their work on site, but I am practically always available. I know from my own experience how important this round-the-clock support is. At busy times I'm also there to do the installations myself.

CLEARLY WITH EXPERIENCE

I joined Finnchain in 2013 as a fitter and moved to my current role in 2022. I am a heavy vehicle fitter by training and I am currently studying for a degree in mechanical engineering.

All my previous work experience is a great benefit in both sales manager and installation supervisor positions. I know the equipment and the sites, their requirements and any issues that may arise that require quick solutions.

CLEARLY FOR KNOWLEDGE

Common sense and knowledge are the basis of everything. In sales, you need to be outgoing and get on with different people. In installation work, you have to be able to take action and complete the agreed tasks within the agreed timeframe.

With Iiro’s extensive practical experience, he knows the equipment and construction sites, their requirements, and any issues that may arise that require quick solutions.

CLEARLY FROM THE HEART

I find it meaningful to be responsible for our installers; through sales I make sure they have enough to install. Sometimes there are several projects overlapping and we can call on skilled installers from our partners to help us when needed.

Finnchain has a strong track record; some sites have been using the equipment for more than 20 years. In the eyes of a sales manager, our equipment is even too durable, because they work so well that I can't sell spare parts or new equipment.
