The world's best scraper systems – this time to Australia

Through our own innovation and continuous product development, we have created a product family that is trusted in water and wastewater plants and water-using process industries.

We are the technology leader in chain scraper systems for wastewater treatment. Finnchain has been exporting these systems since the late 1980s. Thousands of our systems are already in use in 65 countries.

Our quality products have a long life cycle. A strong reference can be found in Greece, for example. The Athens wastewater treatment plant is located on an island near the capital's historic harbour. There, on the island of Psyttalia, the last installations of our equipment were carried out just before the opening of the 2004 Summer Olympics.

"It was a really big delivery, no less than 128 scraper systems. Our equipment has stood up to hard use for more than 20 years. That's something to be proud of," says Krister Stenbom, Managing Director of Finnchain.

Tailor-made scraper systems according to the customer's pool dimensions are our main product. We have the right solution for rectangular and circular pools. Whether you need to scrape sludge or the like from the surface, the bottom or both.

Among other things, we are currently working on a major delivery of chain scraper systems to Australia. It’s a promising new start as Finnchain has not received orders Australia in recent years.

"Exports account for 80-90 per cent of our turnover. Most of our exports are to Europe and Asia. Deliveries are usually sent abroad via the port of Rauma," says Stenbom.
